Logo Design:

Color Palette & Typography:

Next, groups had to develop magazine layouts using InDesign. These were considered preliminary layouts, indicating the placement of images and text using the typefaces from our guide. Each group member built upon the magazine's identity by creating a four-page spread; pages between spreads had to be cohesive and treated as a single design unit. For my spread, I covered the different types of shoes one might find in a multiverse. I incorporated large AI-generated images, bold headlines, and body text that wraps around the imagery.

FINAL MAGAZINE SPREADS

After each group member designed their spreads, we combined them to construct the final magazine layout. Although each spread was designed by different people, we still had to maintain a visual consistency throughout the magazine. In our final layout, we also chose the cover that best followed the theme of our magazine and embodied our brand message.

MOCKUPS

For the final submission, our group sent the magazine to an editorial printer. Before getting the final result, we were able to create mockups to see how the magazine would look in the physical world.
